Each handcrafted rack is made of solid red oak or white pine, finished with a minium 3 coats of lacquer. Some of our competitor's use wax as a finish. Wax provides no significant protective barrier for wood against heat, water, water vapor or chemicals.
We don’t use any plywood or plastic parts in the making of these wood racks. The base is dovetailed to the sides to make an incredibly strong unit. The racks can be placed on the floor, on a base cabinet or hung on the wall with the included rail mount.
Because of the style and quality, several museums and historic restoration sites are using our racks as a part of their displays and recreations .
Because each unit is handmade please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery
